My friend had a Whipple's procedure done in December 2010. Following this she had many sessions of chemotherapy at both Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. The nurses were extremely caring - this from the GP surgery, the Health Visitors, the Oncology Staff and right through to the Ward Staff who cared for her during the last three weeks of her life until she passed away last week. The Consultants also were more than attentive and I feel that all of these professionals went the extra mile. I was very much included in any of the discussions regarding her treatment and would like to thank all of these people.
