Anything else?
I have recently moved from Wales to London so I can make a direct comparison of services for Ovarian Cancer in two hospitals. First impressions of the RM in Fulham - it's an old-fashioned Victorian building - but inside it is modern, clean, efficient, calm and it has excellent resources. The hospital provide wi-fi throughout the building and even in the little cafe opposite the hospital which is a great place to stop for a coffee or bit to eat. The waiting area is calm and well organised and when you need a blood test you take a ticket and wait for that number to show up on the screen. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and I got the impression they take as much time as you need to get to know patients as individuals, discuss treatment options and talk about anything else you might like to raise. I complete a comprehensive wellbeing form each visit which is a great idea because it addresses physical and emotional issues. I couldn't fault this hospital or the staff. They have been wonderful and I'm pleased I made the decision to leave my former hospital in Cardiff.
