"Appointments could be available quicker after referral"

About: Euston House Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Length of time between appointments too long, but specialist was very thorough and took time to assess in great detail.

Explained everything in plain, straight English. Certainly a better service than going to PRH or other hospitals.

No parking charges either (YAY).

Overall a very good service but appointments could be available quicker after referral.

Thank you for providing feedback regarding your recent referral.

Your comments appear to raise two points relating to appointments. The first is that initial appointments could be made available quicker after referral. TRAQS aims to contact patients within 5 working days of receipt of the referral from your GP Practice. However, the delay may have occurred between your attendance at your practice and them forwarding the referral on to TRAQS. It may also be the case that there was a delay due to the lack of available appointments at the hospital. As all feedback is anonymous I am unable to indentify the point at which the delay occurred.

Your second comment appears to relate to follow-up appointments, which are not within TRAQS control. Nevertheless it is pleasing to note that your overall experience was a positive one.

Many thanks again for writing to TRAQS.
