"Ian A McInally Date of discharge 19 Sept 2013"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

Anything else?

I have just been discharged from ward 20 at Milton Keynes General Hospital My experience throughout my week in hospital has been horrendous: lack of communication between nurses and nurses, nurses and doctors, doctors and nurses ie a general lack of communication. Lack of respect from some nurses to patient - examples can be given. Night staff in general seemed lazy and only wanted to get through their shift, seemed to see the patients as an interference and nuisance to their trivial gossiping. Lack of general care, inability to administer correct medication. The list goes on and on. I would be more than happy to discuss the details with somebody in higher authority to the ward staff who generally seemed disinterested when I raised any issues with them during my stay at the hospital. Now I am home I just hope I never have the misfortune to have to attend the hospital again as an inpatient
