I have history problems of weak bladder and minor water inflections and as well irritable bowels. On 18/09/13 around 5pm I was getting serious pains and I thought it was general IBS attacks, thought past by but got seriously worst by 7 and lot more around 9. I couldn't move what so ever, I had pain from my lower abdomen and continuing up to my chest and throbbing pains around my kidney areas. Now this didn't seem to be IBS attack or to do with my bladder. I went to emergency doctors in Meanwood. It suggested it could be Pancreatitis. So I had to go to A&E St James Hospital to see the Tummy surgeon. I waited 40 minutes to see the nurse but the room was full of drunks. I went to see the nurse, got blood pressure, blood done and urine sample. I was in that pain I was crying so much and morning. It seems the nurses and doctors walked pass seem not bothered like I will put up with the pain. I felt burning, stabbing sensation, I was crying to my mum and I felt vulnerable. My mum was loosing her patience. Half hour later the nurse gave me coromal tablets to ease the pain which it didn't and said I should see the surgeon soon. It took an hour to get aborting by a man to take me there since I couldn't move or walk. I got seen by the surgeon which it seems he didn't care. It pressing on my stomach and i was moaning and he told me to stop moaning and take deep breathes. My blood pressure were fine, my blood were fine but had blood in my urine. So all along it was serious bad water inflection and same time IBS attack which my intestine were inflamed pushing against bladder and the two pain combine together just made it worst. There said just go home and take pain killers and tell my bladder consultant what happen which I am seeing today and sending my urine sample to my GP to see if its water inflection and take it from there. So I left I waste my time and could of stayed home. All together if I did have pancreaitis it just the timing was not good, the doctors and nurse didn't seem to care a urgent surgery, I could of been in serious condition and hav. They seems to focus on more the drunks than serious conditions. Which waiting room stank of urine, alcohol and cigarettes. Just the staff need to be sorted and be more friendly and chatty. There should have a separate A&E for the sort drunks out. I think LGI is better hospital than St James.
