"Tiverton Mobile Breast Screening Unit"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital

Anything else?

I was discusted at the attitude of the nurse who performed my mammogram on 16.9.13. She spoke to patients like dirt, barking commands in a raised voice 'take a seat'. Unknown to the nurse I am a Senior healthcare professional and have worked in healthcare for over 20 years. I was appalled at her attitude. She did not wear a name badge, like her colleague , which I suspect is deliberate, to avoid being named by patients in complaints.

Dear Patient

Thank you for posting your comments on the website - I was really sorry to learn that you had such a poor experience during your recent visit to the Breast Screening Unit at Tiverton, especially as it can be a very uncomfortable and worrying time during the procedure.

Can I ask you to contact the following person/s in relation to your concerns as the unit is managed by "In Health" and not this Trust.

Contact details for Clare Clarke (Liaison representative) 01392 262600 or

Alison Vine on 01392 262606. The direct number for the unit is 07734852486.

I am sure Clare would wish to look into this incident and support you further.

Jayne
