About: Fairfield General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I reported to A & E at approximately 2000 hours and was finished being treated at 2330 hours I accept this waiting time. What baffles me is the parking facilities & help for disabled. I am an ex soldier who pushes him self to the maximum pain level to attend appointments one of which I tried to attend on Friday at 1110 hours Friday 29 February 2008. I am normally on crutches from a failed disc replacement in my spine but due to a fractured collor bone (A & E Wednesday night) I now can not travel very far without the aid of my crutches (which I cannot use) I returned home due to the non availability of car parking spaces and tried to re-arrange another way of getting this physio appointment in A & E but to no avail due to transport. I thought I was pushing my luck driving with a fractured collar bone to attend the appointment but the troops are working abroad therefore I have no transport to attend the appointment neither the money as I am now surviving on a War Pension & Benefits. What Can I do?

What could be improved

More spaces near the A & E for disabled.
