I would like to compliment the receptionist that started at 7am on Monday 16th September in the Day Surgery Unit. There were already patients waiting at the door on her arrival but she let them through and asked them to take a seat whilst she organised herself. The receptionist then came in to the waiting area to check off those that had arrived early. My only critisism was the afternoon receptionist. She did not acknowledge my arrival and carried on looking at notes on the shelves then went to finish her telephone call that she presumably had on hold. If she had just turned round and said 'I won't be a minute' it would not have looked as ignorant.
