Both my boys have been admitted to Leighton over the past 6 years for breathing complaints and chest problems. The staff that took care of my boys are and were amazing. I used to live in Staffordshire and still chose to use Leighton Hospital as our main source of medical care. I cannot praise the care and diligence enough to the staff who cared for my children and also made me feel comfortable in staying with them while they were admitted. Thank you Leighton for providing my faily with such great medical care.

Many thanks for taking the time to put your positive comment on NHS choices. As a unit we strive for excellent care for both the child and family who are admitted to the unit and it is really positive to hear that we are achieving this goal. As a children’s unit we appreciate that it is a very stressful time for families when a child is admitted to the unit, therefore we attempt to make everyone’s stay pleasant and reduce as much stress as possible by keeping families up to date with the child’s condition and progress. We also encourage a happy and playful environment for the children to recover despite them feeling unwell.
