Anything else?
I was referred to the Colposcopy clinic and found the doctor and nurses extremely competent, pleasant and professional. I find smear tests extremely painful and a bit of a psychological struggle for various reasons, so I was dreading my appointment. The two women seeing me were incredibly supportive and calming, and just made the whole thing much easier than I expected. Everything was explained and when I found it difficult they prevented me going into full panic mode. I emerged more relaxed than when I went in, feeling I'd been listened to and and respected. No patronising, no brushing off, no hurrying me along. Hugely appreciated. The procedure was all over in minutes and I didn't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. They talked me through the before/during/after process in detail, and communicated everything very well. Very relieved and pleased, after weeks of worry and doubt. Thank you very much.
"Very good experience"
