Anything else?
I had an accident mowing grass 6 days ago. It felt as though I had dislocated my shoulder. The local Pharmacist advised me to see a Doctor a.s.a.p. I went in to A&E, walking wounded entrance, the next day (Thursday), and checked in at 11 pm. I saw several staff over 90 minutes, getting more senior as time passed. After a visit to X Ray I ended up in a cubicle. One final inspection of my dangling arm, and I was given a sling and an appointment at the Orthopaedic Outpatients 0930 on Tuesday. I went in to see the Consultant at 0925 and had a thorough examination and discussion on the way forward. I was given a cortisone injection, ouch, and another appointment in 2 weeks when a decision will be taken on whether I need surgery. So far so good. Watch this space after Oct 1st.
"Be patient. Very satisfied with my visits to A&E..."
