What I liked
Although I have only been a patient in a day care ward I have always found the staff very professional and caring in their duties.
What could be improved
On receiving letter for a colonoscopy appointment you are asked to ring up and confirm that date is OK or not. If you are unable to attend on due date the staff are unable to give you a new date when you phone and you have to wait for another letter. This has happened to me 3 times and on each occasion I am sent the medicine, map and letter. It would be so much better if a new date could be given over the phone and perhaps just a postcard could be sent with new date and time. Hopefully this would save staff time, medicine, postage and further phone calls.
