Anything else?
I stayed in hospital for 6 days. Initially I was admitted through a&e and seen by a junior doctor after a 3 hour wait. I understand that it is a university hospital, however the junior doctor did not appear to know what to do and had very little support. I was left in a&e for a very long time and I did not know what was going on. I was either on ward 3 or 4 where I had one very nice nurse, however most of the time I did not know what was going on and the doctors did not communicate with me at all. The ward was very understaffed in the evening and one of the nursing assistants was very rude, my drip ran out and all she would do was turn the alarm off without saying a word to me even though this was hurting my arm. I was moved to ward 16 in a side room which amazing, I also went through anathalactic shock which the doctors responded to amazingly! My discharge was very slow and my follow up was non existent, which caused me a lot of stress.
