Anything else?
I came to the hsopital to see a dr because of significant swelling in neck and sever pain. The dr had decided what the issue was even prior to my apprearance at the hospital being already convined i should not attend and be home resting. I had to 'fight' for an appointment at hantsdoc and the dr barely examined me on arrival, restatinbg his ''diagnosis'' of a ''virus''he had made over the telephone. He then proceeded to outline other patients in the hospital who were emergencies therefore his subtext giving the distinct impression I was unworthy of the hospitals precious time, sending me home without antibiotics, without proper tests of any description or pain killers. By the next day my neck had swollen to the point of jaw paralysis requiring emergency appointment at GP who immediately started me on treatment for a abscess with instruction that this may require hospital treatment. it is deeply worrying that a Dr can be this disinterested in what a patirent is tellign them, leaving me yet more time without very needed treatment. truly disgusted by the treatment and humiliation I was put through by this service.
"misdiagnosis and terrible treatment"
