Recently had op at West Cumberland. Was worried by the neglect the building was showing but the treatment and care I received were second to none . I was evolved in decisions and told everything that was happening. Now recovering at home after a successful op with minimal pain I'd like to thank all staff ,who were wonderful for their help and caring during my stay.

Thank you for letting us know about the care you received while visiting West Cumberland Hospital for an operation. It is never easy coming to hospital so we are pleased that the staff put you at your ease. You will be aware that we are redeveloping the hospital currently under a £90 million redevelopment project and we hope to be opening the new facility in early 2015 to provide a modern facility to meet the needs of modern healthcare.
