"My colorectal surgery and therafter."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Anything else?

Obviously being diagnosed with bowel cancer was very traumatic but from that time the care and kindness I have received has been first class.Following the operation I was in the high dependency ward for nine days where the level of care was excellent and since then have had a number of visits to the stoma clinic where again I have received first class attention and advice. I had a telephone review with someone a few weeks ago who as always was very kind and considerate. Yesterday I had an annual review with a Consultant who clearly explained the ramifications of a reversal operation which I am considering. As stated a very traumatic situation last year made that much easier to accept by all the staff I have been involved with.
