"Made me focus on the smaller battles against my depression... not the war"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

Inclusion Matters made a huge difference to how I go about my day to day life.

Instead of focusing on a war with my depression, I focused on the smaller battles of doing activities I didn't feel like doing. By doing this, I now feel great.

Inclusion Matters also told me what signs to look out for so I can recognise when I start to feel down again.

Overall I can't thank the service enough! It was an enlightening and worthwhile experience.

Dear Quail909

It sounds like you've made considerable changes during therapy; well done.

Tackling managable sized problems is always more productive, and learning how to recognise negative feelings whilst they are still managable is an important skill.

I am really pleased attending Inclusion Matters Liverpool has been such a worthwhile experiance for you, we very much appreciate your thanks. And thank you too for taking the time to share your experience on Patient Opinion.

All the very best of luck for the future.

Sian
