I had my baby at Watford Hospital in August. The care I received was outstanding! I was so impressed and cannot thank each and every person enough. Each and every midwife that was there was fantastic. I called the hospital on a Friday night as I didn't feel that my baby's movements were right. The midwife told me to come in so they could monitor me and check that everything was ok. I went in and they did checks and monitored my baby's heart rate. Nothing was too much for them and they really were caring. After monitoring my baby for about an hour they had someone else come and give a second opinion as they were not happy with my baby's heart rate dropping and rising. A doctor came to check and I was told I would be having the baby that night. I was taken up to the delivery suite and was looked after there. I ended up having an emergency c section and I can honesty say that everyone was amazing, they made me feel at ease and comfortable. The anethetist and surgeon were fantastic! The care I received after was top and I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you to everyone at the Watford Maternity unit for everything you did. It was a really enjoyable experience for me.
