Anything else?
well what a difference this time my husband was admitted!! the new A&E dept is a disaster, much too small an area, everyone was either standing or sitting on floor! arrived at 6pm, finally saw nurse at 8pm, finally got pain relief at 9.30! at 11pm had to moan at the sister of A&E on 04/09/13 that my husband was still left standing in dreadful pain after 5 hours of walking through the doors, no cubicles available she said, saw doctor at 1pm had x ray, plus when she took bloods, managed not to get the needle in correctly, so blood spilling all over floor, saw doc at 3.45 when he was finally admitted. He was kept in for 5 days where 3 different teams of doctors had different opinions, even after reading about his admission the previous month, scans were ordered then cancelled by another doctor, x rays were ordered then cancelled by another doctor, and as for one doctor, how rude is he??? never once spoke to my husband whilst attending him, only grunted to his understudies, what is happening?? The only consolation were the nursing staff, from the admissions to the wards, they were great!! they could certainly show the doctor a bit of manners that's for sure. My husband has been told his condition will flair up again and each time will get worse until it is sorted, god help us then if we have to go back to Lister!
"A&E admission - total mismash!!"
