I have some difficulty with understanding the benefits of the TRAQS/choice system. To be fully affective, it seems to me that it would inform the patient of full information about the service quality and outcomes of the options offered and to be prepared to consider these in detail.
Without these it fundamentally comes from the convenience of venue and timescale of the appointment. So, maybe "patient choice" is less than advertised.
