"My dislocated shoulder"

I fell off a narrowboat into the canal in the centre of B'ham and dislocated my shoulder. I was taken to A&E,where all my wet clothes were removed, x-rayed immediately, seen by a doctor. I was given sedation, had the shoulder replaced and x-rayed again and was discharged. This took 1 hr and 40mns. I cannot praise all the staff enough. They were kind, sympathetic and had a quiet humour. I was looked after speedily and efficiently, and I would like to thank them all. Elaine Lund
