Having heard such bad reports of the A & E Department at the Sussex County, how wonderfully surprised and delighted I was with the care and service I have just received. I arrived by ambulance with breathing and chest pains and immediately a well oiled machine sprung into action. Having been seen in Resus I was transferred to the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) where the staff fell over themselves in their care and professionalism. While any stay in hospital is not something to relish, if one unfortunately needs urgent medical assistance then for me it has to be the Sussex County.
