"Nothing but praise and kind words for midwives and doctors"

About: The James Cook University Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

In early August I went for a routine scan and found out that my baby's heart had stopped beating.

We were taken to a room and I was given a tablet and sent home, a couple of days later I was back in hospital and given another tablet to start things along.

At 11. 45pm I gave birth to our baby whom we called Hayden.

First of all I would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses who were so kind to us on the first day, secondly I have nothing but praise and kind words for the midwife's and doctors who helped me through one of the most traumatic few days of my life.

They were attentive and kind and were there when I needed them. They made my experience bearable.
