NHS hospitals do get a lot of criticism but my experience was a very good one - I was terrified at the thought of my hip op and the full anaesthetic - the anaesthetist was wonderfully re-assuring and so was the nurse assisting him when I was about to go into the operating theatre - after care was good and the whole experience was nowhere near as scary as I imagined it would be - food was quite good considering just how little they have to spend on each meal - care staff were wonderful - so there it is some very positive feedback!
