"I called the 111 service as my normal GP was not available"

(as a service user),

One week end I had heart palpitations which frightened me.

I called the 111 service as my normal GP was not available. My call was answered by a nurse – she went through a lot of questions about my symptoms. As I have had heart palpitations in the past I was familiar with the questions.

The nurse suggested I should go to A&E but by that time the palpitations had subsided so I did not feel I needed to.
