I had my daughter at the pruh, the delivery suite staff was amazing, but as soon as I got moved onto the ward it was terrible I hated it. I was starving they wouldn't give me any food said I missed lunch/ was really thirsty and had to wait ages for a drink when they got me a jug of water got told I was drinking to much. one nurse said I could have the fan on another kept turning it off. there was one lovely nurse and they got shouted at by another nurse who wasn't even above them in infront of the whole ward. the staff were so rude it was unbelieveable. nurses told me I could go home then others said no. I had to wee in a jug a certain amount but if I didn't do that certain amount I got told to throw it away and do it again another nurse told me not to throw it away just keep going to the right amount. I had an injection in my belly and to this day don't know what it was for as I wasn't told. I was so stressed I discharged myself and my baby. im pregnant again with my second child and am looking for a different hospital to have him/her if im unfortunate to have to go to the pruh assuming all goes well I will be discharging myself again, and have arranged for family to bring me cooked meals and drinks. an absolute sham at that hospital hated every minute of it.
