"Dislocated shoulder"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

Anything else?

I dislocated my left shoulder and needed an ambulance to take me to Cheltenham A & E as I could not stand because of a the pain. Morphine and gas/air did not help much so in absolute agony. Have to say the Ambulance Service and Cheltenham General Hospital were fantastic. On arrival I was seen immediately, X- rayed, given more pain killer, then they popped it back, which surprisingly did not hurt, then more X-rays and sent home with a follow up appointment in 2 days time. The staff and treatment could not have been better and I was mightily impressed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share this feedback. It's always great to hear when someone has had a good experience of our services and we'll pass this onto the A&E team who were involved in you care. Many thanks again and all the best with your recovery.
