My lovely neighbour had a long-term illness. Last month, he got worse very suddenly, was taken by ambulance to Watford, and admitted to ITU where he died 4 days later.
His family told me how he was so well cared for and kept comfortable when it was agreed that active treatment should be withdrawn, and how kind and supportive the staff were to his family. I just wanted to let you know this.
