Having previously quite a poor impression of Northwick Park Hospital some 10+ years ago, I cannot believe the changes to the hospital overall. My mum came to A&E having suffered a stroke and received fantastic care from the staff and doctors there. My sister and I were kept informed all the time and the fast treatment of drugs helped mum to recover sufficiently so that we had some decent quality time with her before she passed away several months later from heart failure (she was 90). The stroke ward where she moved to briefly was spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive and helpful and very caring. Without their efforts we are sure that mum would have not survived the strokes and we would have lost her there and then. Also my aunt is currently under the care of the ENT clinic and we cannot sing their praises loudly enough. They have been extremely efficient, caring and professional and I am sure she has received the best possible care. If our experiences of Northwick Park are representative of all the areas of Northwick Park, then there has been an amazing turnaround in this hospital and the staff and management deserve the highest praise. Thank you very much for helping my family so much.
