I was so relieved to receive the help I had from Advocacy Support Cymru in seeking to appeal against the decision to remove my support allowance.

The help I received from Ellie who acted as advocate for me was invaluable. She acted most professionally both in our meeting to discuss my case and in the hearing itself.

Just to know that there was somebody there to support me was such a relief for the prospect of doing it without her would have been daunting.

My appeal was upheld and I feel that this outcome was in no small measure aided by the support I received from Ellie.
