Anything else?
I was admitted via PGI- after been held on the surgical assessment ward due to a severe shortage of beds I was taken to Ward 34. It is an extremely clean environment and the nursing staff are superb. The doctors do not communicate with the nursing staff as effectively as they could and it is always the nursing staff who are left to pick up the pieces. That said, the doctors were caring and considerate in their job. I really felt for the nurses when they were over- stretched and receiving very elderly, very sick patients. This was due, I believe, to the surgical assessment ward. Well done though!! (food was very good too although catering staff could do with smiling more!)
