What could be improved
on saturday evening 25/8/2007 i came to selby memorial hospital to collect my nephew who had been taken ill during the day with an infection, causing his face to swell being a bystander i did not take my notice of events or treatment until a nurse came into the waiting area to give my nephews mother his medicine. there was some confusion over what the doctor had prescribed as his english wasnt great, but my main concern is with the nurses attitude who when asked for clarification, instead of going to check with the doctor, merely stomped off ignoring us both, and leaving us bemused at the situation, her attitude apparently when the child was being treated was off hand,so perhaps she needs to look at her approach to people, especially as we then had to find the doctor to sort out the issue for ourselves.
