"A&E care"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Anything else?

I would like to thank the staff at West Mid A&E department for the most amazing service. I injured my hand two days ago and usually think nothing of it and just wait for things to heal. A work colleague suggested I have a tetanus jab as it had been so long since I had my last one over 25 years and I got the wound from a very dirty soil pipe. I signed in at A&E at 1am on Friday Aug 30 and by 1.15 I was leaving having been reassured, and treated in the most polite, helpful and efficient way imaginable. my nurse was really supportive as Im diabetic and was a little worried how it might affect my blood sugars. This may be an incredible exception to the Friday night norm, but for me it was a brilliant experience and my thanks go out to the department and in particular my nurse. Kindest regards John Osborne
