"Friendly staff, clean premises but management?"

The Hospital is modern and clean. Staff are friendly, warm and genuinely caring. To be honest I was blown away by how some of the members of staff went out of their way to help. Two nurses, one is simply amazing and really deserves a recognition for the care she provides. Another was really helpful as well and there were many others who were very very helpful and kind. But shamefully what lets all these people down is the management. There seems to be no one really in charge. On the day when we were supposed to be discharged half of our day was wasted because of poor management. My wife was not seen by any doctor because they assumed she had already been cleared to go home. And if that wasn't enough, when I went to get my newborn to see the pediatrician, She 'forgot' to document the results on our papers and we were told we had to stay one more night because the pediatrician had gone home. There was no way we were going to stay there for the night after having to wait all day and we let them know that. And thankfully after waiting for couple of more hours we were finally allowed to go. I think management in the Larch Ward needs to be reviewed. The nurses there are really busy and need some one who can manage them well and knows whats going on. However I would still rate the Hospital a 7/10 because of the nurses, cleanliness, Ample Car Parking, free motorcycle Parking, accessibility.
