"chest pain"

About: Ealing Hospital

Anything else?

I called 111 as I woke up with chest pain and I couldn't breathe. Paramedics were sent (they were good help) and I was taken to Ealing hospital. After doing one test per hour and waiting on a bed for four hours staring at the ceiling with my chest feeling blocked unable to breathe properly and waiting for a doctor to read the result. I was told theres nothing wrong. Although I mentioned my chest the doctor was still talking about a cough. I asked the doctor what I can do about the chest pain she replied take paracetomal. I am still not keen on that advise as I don't know how paracetamol will help me breath. To relief the struggle of breathing I took my brother's advise to breathe in a bag which helps a little. The doctors failed to even mention what it could be. The advise is not what would be expected from a A & E doctor. I have had the problem for three weeks now. My symptoms weren't listened to and therefore the correct advise wasn't given. I am going back to my GP with the same problem. I would avoid Ealing Hospital they are still terrible. The paramedics were far better than the doctor.
