Anything else?
I went into A&E with a dislocated knee towards the end of May. When my partner requested an ambulance as we live upstairs and I was unable to walk it was refused! Because of this I then had to wait until the next day for my Grandmother to be able to drive me! When I eventually got there, I was left waiting for hours in a disgustingly dirty A&E waiting-room. X-Rays were taken of my leg, showing the dislocated kneecap yet I was sent home with it still out of place! After this I was transfered to the physio department and after 12 weeks of physio I had no improvement so was transferred back to A&E! I was then sent for an MRI scan, after this I was finally told that I had dislocated my knee, before-hand I was told it was ligament damage! I'm now in a leg brace, awaiting surgery thanks to the extra damage that was done by forcing me to repeatedly dislocate and relocate my knee during physio! I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated by this hospital and am considering making a claim.
