"Most disgusting treatment I have ever received..."

Being very new this country I did not know what expect when I arrived to West Middlesex University Hospital with severe abdominal pain. Although the treatment in A&E was relatively swift once I arrived on a ward my positive assumptions about the hospital were quickly dissolved. I was placed in a high care room on AMU 1 and was told it is possible I have appendicitis. I was taken of food and drinks and given IV fluids antibiotics and morphine and comfortably drifted to sleep for the first tine in 3 days. However at 130 in the morning I was startled out of my sleep to find out I was being moved to another room. I was taken into a room where it was extremely hot. I noticed that other patients had access to fans and although I asked for one repeatedly I did not receive one until 530 in the morning. At around 7 that morning I was told I was going to get a ct scan at 8 am. While waiting for the ct scan to be performed i was informed that i could have sips of water so i requested water which i never received. Shortly after 9 a surgical team of six came to examine me. I was poked and examined told I was getting a ct scan and an ultrasound and no further explanation was given. At about 930 the porter to take me to ct scan. I was taken of my iv fluids n taken downstairs for my scan. Once I arrived back on the ward I was not reconnected to my fluids and was advised I was no longer able to have sips of water. So at this point I am feeling dehydrated n still disconnected from my iv fluids. At 1 pm a nurse came to administer antibiotics and I explained to her that it was burning and I thought my butterfly needle had to checked. She questioned me like I was incapable of knowing what I was feeling. Very condescending. She walked away with an attitude. When my partner arrived an hour later I told what had happened. The nurse in question was behind the curtain dealing with the patient next to me. She began to shout at us from behind the curtain. My partner disgusted with her lack of professionalism and my lack of care went to see who was in charge of the floor and explain the situation. Before anything was resolved a porter had arrived to take me for an ultrasound. At this point it is nearly 3pm and I haven't had any sort of fluids since 9 am. I arrive to ultrasound to find out they were checking my gallbladder which was news to me as the last I was told my issue was my appendix. After my ultrasound I was taken back to the ward to be given a new butterfly needle and finally administered my long overdue fluids n antibiotics. When the doctors finally arrived to see me they were unaware that I was given a ct scan that morning. At that point my partner expressed his disgust again with the care I was receiving and how there was an obvious communication issue in the hospital. What actually surprised me was I was listed as being diabetic when I am not. A senior surgeon was called to explain my situation and proposed course of action. .
