I was taken to North mid Via ambulance. I was seen by a nurse and had the usuals done blood pressure, blood test etc. The nurse clearly rushed reading my notes as I had pain and loss of function in my right limbs, they kept referring to my left side constantly and was also asking me questions but not listening to my answers to the point where I said I was not vomiting and would like to take some painkillers they done a pain killer drip which I over looked as i was just grateful for the pain killer the drip was finished in 15 mins. I asked someone to remove which they said give them a few mins and she would take it out 2 1/2 hours later it was removed by the Dr I was told by them the blood tests would only take on hour to which i said they were taken 2 1/2 hours ago and they said that it only said 20 mins ago in my notes aghh frustration. They offered me a CT scan but then talked me out of it. Was sent back the next day by my Gp who said a Ct or MRI needs to be done. The Dr I was seen by was rude and very unhelpful they again wanted bloods and the cannula went horribly wrong they were pushing it back in to my vein. The Dr then came over and said can we keep the cannula in and again started pushing it back in, I had to tell him to take it out as it was not in my vein and stop pushing it back in. my arm was bruised and swollen already the Dr seemed angry and annoyed cause i asked them to leave my arm alone. Again the Dr was talking me out of the scan and saying how expensive they are and is it really needed also my Dr was wrong to send me back was going to call them and a MRI is not suitable. Within 15 mins of talking to my Gp i was being whisked away for an MRI I was so annoyed at the tone of voice and arrogance no people skills at all. After waiting for gone 5 hours patiently i went and asked a nurse what i was waiting for who said your results are here we are just waiting for the Dr i asked for the results as i found out my Dr was in a meeting and no one knew how long they would be the results were fine but they still didn't know what was wrong with me but just told me to go home. i'm still having problems nearly 2 weeks on but cant get help. the toilet had splatters of what looked like blood and poo and no one bothered to clean it and there were blood splatters on the floor of a shabby cubicle where we were all told to wait. i'm highly disappointed at the Dr and lack of care and rudeness coming out with comments like Why are you here. over and over again. One of the nurses had written someone else's notes on my notes which caused confusion. disorganised not clean and very frustrating this hospital needs a drastic turn around some new Drs that actually are there the help the patients with good people skills.
