Anything else?
I went into hospital in labour with contractions every 1-2 mins. Midwife told me to go home as I was only 2cm dilated. She didn't check me before she left as she was due to finish her shift. I ended up giving birth in an ambulance (very nearly in my husbands car on a freezing cold winter morning due to the midwife. I was then taken back to the hospital where I was in a room and left for ages waiting for a midwife to check my baby. The bathroom to this room was covered in blood, it was all over the floor, toilet, bath tub. It was disgusting, not what you need after giving birth. The only upside was the midwife that came in on the afternoon shift (who was one of only 2 midwifes on shift for the whole ward) she was very apologetic for everything that had happened and was amazing. But I will not go back to this hospital again. The whole experience gave me nightmares and I believe was one of the reasons I had post-natal depression. I even sent them a feedback/complaint and heard nothing back so they obviously don't care about there patients and how they need to drastically improve their service!!
"Terrible experience, due to overworked staff!!"
