Anything else?
My partner was taken by ambulance to Charing Cross A&E on a Sunday afternoon after having an epileptic seizure. I met him there later. We were both pleased with the service of care from nurses and doctors. The hospital was clean, we were kept well informed of what tests were being taken and how long we would need to wait. We thought the nurses were particularly friendly and put us at ease and the trainee doctor seemed confident and able. We were given privacy in our own curtained off bed section and it did not feel like we were wasting anybody's time - which it can feel sometimes. Despite the ongoing pressures in the NHS, the fact that this service was free is amazing. The level of care was good and thorough. People need to remember that we are extremely lucky as a nation to have a free and world class NHS.
