"Visit to the 'Healthy Legs' Clinic - as a drop-in patient"

About: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust / Healthy legs

(as a relative),

The GP recommended a visit to have a doplar scan on my father's legs; his right leg in particular was very swollen. Water retention complications following heart surgery in May.

We were greeted with a very friendly 'nurse' who assisted with completing the initial enquiry form. The surgery at Spring bank court opened at 1. 00pm prompt. We were taken straight in. The nurse was extremely professional, she put my father at ease and explained everything she was going to do during the scan. The nurse wrote a brief note to be given to the GP and explained what she had written. My father was extremely delighted with the nurse and felt very comfortable as she explained each step. Thank you.
