(as the patient),

I have had a stoma since 1982. Also a number of tumour in my back. I also suffer from low blood pressure and have been treated for skin cancer.

My treatment has been superb so far, over the time from when I was first diagnosed. I have walked 18 times west-east coast of Scotland thanks to the NHS, raising money for charity.

The stroke unit in Rotherham is a superb unit. Very caring. Excuse writing as my hand is shaking.

As I say to people don't give up.
