"Pacing Clinic"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

Anything else?

I have been treated in the pacing clinic (for my ICD) for over 10 years and attend twice yearly appointments, although recently it has been every 10-12 weeks. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and caring. Despite this being an incredibly busy clinic with acute and planned cases constantly arriving and leaving I am always told what to expect and treated as an individual. Privacy is protected, although the curtained cubicles mean that you can hear everything going on in both bays. The reception staff are helpful and also friendly. Another good sign is the seemingly low staff turnover despite the pressure.
