I have a 2nd degree bladder prolapse.
I saw a gynaecologist who said they'd seen worse, there's nothing they can do except pelvic floor exercises and avoid heavy lifting.
I went to my gp and asked to be refereed to urogyn. I saw a Dr ****. Well actually I saw someone else who couldn't really get the gist of how bad my prolapse is affecting me. They took my notes, examined me and got Dr **** who took a look then said I have stage 2 prolapse and started walking out the room??
No explanation advice info or anything...I had to ask about surgery and they said oh I wont give you surgery until its severe and hanging out of you.
They were so unhelpful and rude and wasn't even in the room longer than 2 mins and gave me no advice or anything. I was referred for physio and when I went for my app the physio had no idea I had a prolapse coz there was nothing written in the notes. She did find a letter though from Dr **** saying that I don't have a bladder prolapse...after telling me I do? what kind of Dr tells someone they have something then write a letter saying they don't?
I know I do have bladder prolapse anyway coz I can see it n feel it n have all the symptoms. I'm confused n want a 2nd opinion but not sure I trust any of them...if they cant be bothered spending time with you n cant even get your notes or diagnosis right how the hell are you supposed to trust them operating on you?
