I took my wife to A&E with a suspected broken foot. We were seen quickly by the nurse practitioner. He was excellent and gave her painkillers straight away. He got the x-ray arranged quickly and diagnosed a small fracture of the foot bone. She was fitted with a walking boot and given crutches and advice. Overall a perfect service. In these days of slating the NHS i believe it is also important to acknowledge good service.
