Anything else?
I was transferred to Ward J42 after a laparascopic robotic prostatectomy. The care I received was excellent from my arrival to the moment of discharge and the staff were lovely and a pleasure to be with. The impressive element was the planning and execution of my stay and also the plans they put in place for me post-discharge. Everything went so smoothly and the attention to detail was amazing.; they had thought of everything. There was a District Nurse knocking on my door at 8-00 of the morning I arrived home ready to pick up the reins. This was my first real 'hospital experience' and I inevitably had lots of questions, which they answered fully and without making me feel I was wasting their time. How nursing staff can find time to be so happy and 'light hearted' when their rotas are so punishing and demands on their time intensive, I can't imagine, but they were and it lifted my spirits better than any analgaesic I can tell you. Brilliant job Ward J42! my resultant rapid-recovery is down to you as well as the skill of the surgical team. Ashley J. Wilson
