"The ward was run for the benefit of the staff."

About: Castle Hill Hospital

Anything else?

During my stay at this hospital I felt that my treatment was just an inconvenience to the ward staff. I was asked not to drink after 6-30 AM, But I was not taken to theatre until very late in the afternoon. By this time I was very dehydrated and had to be put on a drip. I was never told when I was to be taken to theatre, even when I asked the nurses. I felt the ward was run for the benefit of the staff and patients were an inconvenience to be endured.
