I was really pleased with the care i was given in hospital and every request i made at the pre op clinic had been tried to be met. On the day of my surgery (hip replacement) all the staff were so friendly and reasuring. There was a good selection of food to choose from including some fresh fruit and salads. All the staff from the porters and house keepers to the senior nurses and matrons were so accommodating. I was in hospital for almost 3 weeks due to other complications and i was made to feel so relaxed. During my stay i got close to a few nurses who comforted me when i was upsett and even the student nurses were brilliant with me. Finally i would just like to say a huge thankyou to everyone based or who worked on the short stay ward.
