"Delivering a Baby there"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

Anything else?

I was totaly unsatisfied, we can say pretty angry what happened in that hospital. I can tell you only 1 Midwife who was really supportive. She has tried everything within her power and knowledge to help us. All the other midwives over the phone were rude. (eg: calling the hospital informing that the water broke - midwife asked me "And what do you want me to do now?" ) It was over the phone. She did not introduce herself, and when I asked a name she has refused to tellme her name. The rest of them were just saying "this is not what is in the book. It shouldn't happen like this". Also nearly all of them had lack of knowledge, letting my wife suffer for nearly 43 hours. It also took hours for the doctor to arrive after asking for her. After she came she figured out that there is somethig wrong and then our baby boy was delivered within 30 minutes. The Midwives had no idea what is going on and had no knowledge to help us. After the the midwifes coming to our home had lack of knowledge of health issues and how to handle to baby. We had white pimple like spots on his gum and neither of the midwifes had any clue what it was. Aftyer consulting the GP it turned out it is quite a regular case. Besides being unfriendly, some of them really rude, they have shown unprofessionalism to me and also lack of knowledge. I must say that I was not happy our first midwife could not stay with us from start to end. I definately do not recommend to have any baby delivered there. This was the first and last time we had that. I have heard rumors about MK hospital, but after experiencing it it is very scary and I am so greatful for god that our Baby is fine.
