i have lived with pain for most of my life i got referred to input to start a course on the 23rd April 2013 i was furred examined and was told this place could try and help me get to terms with my problems but sadly due to more health issue's i could not start my 4 week course which i was looking forward to starting so this had to be put on hold i was given an open window to come back to start my course even this was a problem getting an appointment to get restarted my Rheumatologist said you must get back on this course i mentioned i had a re assessment date August 9th 2013 so he was happy for me to go and get a start date but sadly the physiotherapist only wrote down on a sheet of paper which i found strange that no examination took place only a verbal one i could tell straight away as if i was wasting her time being here then i had to see a clinical psychologist. feeling rejected by the physio i felt upset that there mind was made up i was not suitable for the course if they both were bothered to read my notes from be before i mention i was getting help by a psychologist but this was note for my pain but a child hood problem that happened to me i felt i was just in the way and it was a Friday i have made every effort to make all my appointments and juggle day to day life with a younger son of 10 to be there for that day how did i pass the first assessment and now when i needed it more i failed i think since the age of 14 i have lived with pain for such a long time i was worth the effort of a chance for help i felt scolded that that day i was using a tens machine to help me get there and by using this helps me cut down on medication the both Drs judged me in such a wrong way i was let down because i was ill and to make things worse a letter was complied just after i left by both Drs and was on my doors step Monday morning i took this letter to my Gp the same day as again i had another appointment i cannot comment on what she said due to data protection all i can say unbelievable covering ones backs so fast wish i got treatment that fast on friday the same day i went for my MTX at the hospital and just felt i wanted to give up on my injections that i have been having for up to 7 years on and off this last lot started Oct/09 i have these injections to help cope with the day to day pain i don't have a choice miss 3 weeks walking stick 6 weeks god knows i try very hard for my family to keep things together even when the pain is hard i hide it so where do i go to now back on a list till i am old and grey (sorry grey already still see i can still joke ) so to sum up please don't offer me a life line then pull the rug away it was not very nice
